Machine Instruction Handbook

Specifications

The instruction handbook is one of the mandatory documents according to Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC (section 1.7.4.2.) and must accompany the machine. The handbook must include all the sections of the Machinery Directive that apply to it.

In addition to the applicable sections of the Machinery Directive, the indications of the sections of the following standards must be taken into account:

• EN ISO 12100 Section of the standard: "Accompanying documents (in particular — instruction handbook)".
• Type-C standards (specific regulations for type of machine) Section 7 of the standard: "Information”.
